• The park is open daily year-round, except Thanksgiving day, Christmas day, and New Year's Day
• Gates open sunrise to sunset daily: April 1-October 31, 6:00 am to 9:00 pm; November 1-March 31, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Visitor Center open 8 am-5 pm daily
• Handicapped accessible except for some portions of the Bartram trail; advance call recommended
• Admission $1.00 general public; $.50 children under 6; $.50 senior citizens. Group rates available. Reservations required for group tours.

Directions:

Fort Toulouse/Jackson State Historic Site is located off Highway 231 in Wetumpka, Alabama, slightly north of Montgomery, and east of I-65.

Directions from I-65 (e.g., Birmingham, Mobile):

Take Exit 173 off I-65, just north of where I-85 joins I-65 in Montgomery. This is Alabama Highway 152. Follow 152 to the east, until you get to the exit for U.S. Highway 231. Take Highway 231 north towards Wetumpka. Go approximately 8 miles; look for the Key West Inn on the left and Super Walmart on the right, then a Wendy's, a Shoney's, and a FoodWorld shopping center on the right. At the shopping center there is a red light; turn left here onto Fort Toulouse Road, and go approximately 2.5 miles; Fort Toulouse is at the very end of the road.
